Hoodie Kammerofen

It takes 1,250 degrees Celsius to transform the energy source hard coal into coke, which is so valuable for the steel industry. This process takes place in coking plants in the so-called chamber ovens. There were 304 of them in the coking plant at Zollverein. They produced 8,600 tonnes of coke every day (!).

Impressive figures, aren't they? Similar to the design of this hoodie. The all-over red that defines the look of the hoodie almost looks like fire itself. A hot style to represent the productive side of the Zollverein colliery and its coking plant.
